Solar Photovoltaic Systems
From solar powered calculators and solar watches, to solar farms! The Photovoltaic technology has developed drastically since the last decades to the extent that the technology is now sufficient to produce electricity for homes, buildings, factories, or even cities.

Being a leading company in solar solutions, Smart Age offers complete photovoltaic systems in Lebanon and the MENA region comprising of highest quality components such as: Photovoltaic Solar Panels, Lead-Acid Batteries, Lithium Batteries, Solar Inverters, Solar Chargers, PV-Diesel Hybrid Controllers, etc.

Solar Panels: Our Portfolio includes a wide range of Tier 1 monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar modules, with both transparent and translucid back sheets. We offer all power classes of Class A Mono and Poly solar panels from international brands such as Jinko, Longi, Trina, GCL and others. We also offer a wide range of colored architectural solar panels for special building integrated applications.

Solar Inverters: We offer the complete range of ongrid and offgrid inverters, mainly from the world leading brand SMA, as well as other famous brands such as Fronius, Sungrow, Hawawi, ABB etc.

Solar Batteries: Energy storage is becoming the trend lately promoting self consumption and net zero metering. Our portfolio includes high quality Lead Acid OPzV and OPzS batteries, as well as residential and industrial scale Lithium batteries. Our designs ensure long battery lifetime and consistent performance along the years. Our track record experience in offgrid systems allow us to promise confidently a battery bank lifetime of minimum 10 years and more. With our offgrid systems, clients can benefit from net metering or feed-in tariffs reducing their energy bills.

PV-Diesel Hybrid Controllers: The latest advent in Photovoltaics is the ability to synchronize solar panels with the generators to achieve a high PV penetration level. Thanks to the Fuel Save controller from SMA, we can now integrate large scale solar systems with utility as well as generators, achieving a cost effective solution for organizations and factories with significant day loads, without needing to invest in relatively expensive batteries and off-grid components.

Solar Thermal Systems
Solar water heating is not a new technology, it dates back since 1891 and has been evolving until our current age. Nowadays, residential Solar systems are very popular and are commonly available on most rooftops.

The question remains, which is the best or most efficient solar water heater to select? compact solar system or split solar system? non pressurized or pressurized? Flat plate collector or evacuated tube collector? The answer is never unique. In fact, each country or site imposes its peculiarities and constraints i.e. climate, insolation, water quality, available area etc. It is the role of Smart Age engineers to choose the optimal model for each site they inspect factoring in all the above parameters.

Our portfolio includes a wide range of solar systems and components such as solar collectors, vertical tanks, double-coil tanks, delta controllers, pump stations and many other accessories required for a complete system functionality.

Smart Age dynamic team and well established customer service program assure quick after-sale support on claim services. Moreover, all installations are logged in our after-sale databases to recall customers of routine annual maintenance and system clean-up. Smart Age provides and recommends this service to maintain the systems’ efficiency and maximize its lifespan.

Wind Turbines
One of the most common renewable energy solutions is wind power. With wind turbines, the kinetic velocity is changed to DC electricity and then to AC through appropriate inverters to feed in the loads. Given a suitable location with distinctive wind speeds, the wind turbine can be a reliable energy source for sustainable projects.

Smart Age offers a comprehensive range of wind turbines with various KW production capacities, along with state-of-the-art wind inverters to control the overall wind harvesting and electrical redirection.

Knowing that wind increases in winter and decreases in summer, unlike the sun insulation that decreases in winter and increases in summer, the two renewable technologies Wind Turbines and PV can be combined together in the so called hybrid solar-wind system to complement each other during the various seasons, hence realizing a more stable and reliable energy yield all through the year.

Concentrated Solar Power
Concentrated Solar Power Systems (CSP) use mirrors or lenses to concentrate a large area of sunlight, or solar thermal energy, onto a small area. Electrical power is produced when the concentrated light is converted to heat, which drives a heat engine (usually a steam turbine) connected to an electrical power generator.

CSP is mainly installed for industrial applications requiring steam energy, or even the steam produced by the system can in turn be used for heating or cooling applications.

Large Scale Projects for water, floor, and pool heating
“Three things matter most: Design, Design, and Design!”

Knowing that solar water heating is still the most efficient among other solar technologies, this encourages us to exploit it for large scale hot water projects, as well as for heating applications such as floor heating and pool heating. Our engineers use accredited and advanced software to simulate optimized designs, aiming to harvest the maximum energy from the Sun and utilize it in favor of the customer.

Building Integrated Solar Installations
The beauty of the solar technology from an energy saving point of view, is sometimes counter-faced by aesthetic or space constraints. Since aesthetic beauty is subjective, a lot of architects prefer not to have a solar system dominate their overall envelope of their designs. Also, knowing that solar panels require significant amount of space, many projects are turned down from realization due to this constraint. Therefore, nowadays, the integration of solar systems within the architectural projects is becoming the new trend of solar installations, mainly called Building Integrated Photovoltaics, or shortly BIPV.

Smart Age offers a wide range of Building Integrated Solar systems and colored solar panels that will flow along with the architects’ designs, achieving aesthetic solar facades and solar roofs.
